I've gotten everything off that I think has to come off to take my head off but its not budging. Before I get rough with it or go nuts looking for other shit to take off I want to find a couple of things out.
Does a head weigh enough to where it might seem like its stuck but its just really fucking heavy? If this is the case will it be light enough if I just take the manifolds off?
Does the head need to be pried off to clear the gasket sealents?

You took off the 2 black brackets that go from the block to intake mani off right? Thats if you left your intake mani on...Sometimes you need to budge the head loose, but it should come loose without too much effort. These black brackets are on the back side of the block. You can leave the intake mani on too, it just makes it a bit heavier.

^---- Exactly what XtremeRS said... I just took my head off last night to do my head gasket too, and forgot all about those two bolts... On my engine they are hidden behind a black box on the back of the block... U have to remove the black box first (3 nuts if i remember correctly) and then the two bolts under the intake manifold... Once you get those off just use a flat head screw driver to ply between the head and itll come right off... Good Luck (cause i know how much it sucks)...

i wouldnt suggest using a screwdriver.....i just budged mine loose with a plasic mallet.... make sure that you have everything off before hitting it, but mine was a little stuck also... hope that gets it
