#59017, "I did a search, but does someone have pics and tips on how to remove the tranny??"
I have been searching all day, I found the Armond guide and it's a good one, so are there any more? I also have the Chilton manual. I was looking for some pics of the process and some more how-to guides. So if any of you guys have done it, please let me know what is the best way to do it, I am planning on doing it this weekend. Thank

Probably the best secret I cna think of is to drain your oil (whether you use it again or not is up to you), and drop the oil pan. On the tranny side, you will be able to remove 2 bolts and pull off an access plate which makes it easy as hell to remove the bolts that hold the flex plate to the clutch assy (or torque converter).
Other than that, I would just say, take your time and be careful sir.

Thank you sir, and I will try to be as careful as possible. The thing that sucks is that here in NJ it's supposed to rain all weekend and I only have a driveway...guess I'll have to setup a nice tent around the engine ba
