#58737, "Massive oil leak"

Ok check this out guys, i have got a major oil leak on my valve cover on the right side, and get this, on top of the valve cover as well. Well i know i need a new valve cover to fix the leak on the right side, but what would make oil get on top of the valve cover? and what is the torque specs and the order in which to put the bolts into valve cover and then back on?

oh yea and adam, im gonna TRY (and i hope everything comes out right) to paint my valve cover blue and sand the letters back to polished like you said, plus i got some clear coat, im gonna do this as im changing the valve cover and spark plug gaskets as well as putting the crankcase vaccum back on in place of the air breather, and get a money order for those 2gnt stickers! also you think it would be a good idea to have whoever wants to after the meet come out to my parents house and work on their cars for a while? ive got tools but someone might wanna bring theirs just in case i dont have something.

yeah I hate our valve cover especially those stupid donuts, mine won't stop leaking now O_o, it only leaks when I boost it really hard though. I think the fact that my wastegate is spewing all this exhuast at he valve cover doesn't help either.

Too late but thx for the offer, i got my valve cover and tube well gaskets replaced, boy does she accelerate and respond better now that my #4 spark plug well isnt covered in oil to where it dont spark, its a amazing what a little gasket can destroy! didnt get the valve cover painted, i wasnt happy with it so i paint thinned its ass off, i still have to buy some silicone blue hose though to replace my air breather and also to run off my PCV valve i broke the vaccum hose it runs off of and its barely hanging on to work. Still got to get that money order too for the 2GNT stickers. If you know fo a good price for clear side markers let me know scott, im going to call IIP tomorrow to get a price on them, i need new ones, mine are all foggy. im sure ill see ya tomorrow i got the whole day off.
