If i drive it hard in first and shift to second hard and sometimes from second to third the car will cut off and i will have to disconnect the batter cable and put it back on. This is something to do with the ignition and not firing. i know its not the computer because i have switched it a couple of times. the car is a 96 and was an automatic but i switched it to a 5 speed and yes it has a 5 speed computer.
