You will never get it to sound like a Porsche, cuz like all the other guys said, the engine is the decision factor. The exhaust just helps accentuate your engines note!

Why is this in the "auto trans" section??????????

Just moved this from auto trans section...

Like the others said, I don't think you'll ever get your car to sound like a porsche. The best you'll get is a nice sounding 420A. But, everyone has an opinion of what sounds "nice". I personally like the oval magnaflow muffer. It is a quality performance muffler with a deep, mellow sound. Its not buzzy or raw. If you want to hear your music while driving, I suggest you get a resonator put in the exhaust too.

I actually prefer to stay away from the import or rice mufflers. I lean toward domestic muffler. Usually give a deeper tone. Borla is always good (at a price). Dynomax is good. Flowmaster has their own sound, always have. Magnaflow has a nice deep tone. I'm installed a Hooker muffler on mine shortly.

I agree with Michael_97RS. Domestic mufflers sound the best. Everyone says my exhaust system sounds like a ferrari. I have a Greddy 4-1 header going to a catco high flow cat going to a 8 inch resonator going to a Flowmaster delta flow 40 series dual outlet muffler going to a "fake dual look" 5 inch chrome round tip on each side of the back bumper. Its a neat exhaust setup that sounds the best in my opinion because its made for a bigger engine. But if you want an exhaust note that sounds like a Porsche, buy an exhaust system made for a Porsche.
