beware.. that happened to me... i could feel/hear the synchros eating the plastics alive...
also, it rattled for about 2 weeks, and my gears shift kinda funny ever since.
i got a new sensor and i cant get it to work..
aparrently i needed a gear (speedo gear, that goes inside the tranny) what will rotate with the sensor spinning gear on the sensor.
anyway i bought the part but to crack the tranny open to install it, i'd rather wait till i got to replace my clutch and do both at once.

only thing is, that the ECU controls the IAC with this sensor.
since its not running, the car may run kinda crappy, like it wants to stall at stoplights.
specially with the A/C on, will run even crappier.

Looking to buy 4G63

also ive been noticing some strang grinding/vibration when i let off the accelerator, or drop rpms in any way , ex: let off clutch, brake, or let off gas, and i dont know if it just started since my speedometer stopped working or not, would that grinding/vibration go in part with the speedometer stop working ?

well if the speed rotating gear fell into the tranny its definately the axles eating it. it should hit bottom of tranny
it will eventually desintegrate,
the best way to know its the plastic, try to see if it followes the speed of the car, the slower you go, the more you can hear the sound.
the reason is, if you go fast, no matter what gear your in, with or without clutch, the axles are spinning thus the oil pushing it away from them. when you slow down, there is less movement in the tranny and the plastic will tend to settle, thus hitting against the axle.
it you can hear the sound no matter what speed and it varies with clutch pedal use, then its gonna be a bearing.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.
