I'm gonna be reaching 120k by the end of this month. What do you guyz think should be a good 120k Tuneup?
I know it should include everything That a 60k tuneup has. But what else?
I've already replaced my fuel filter, pcv valve, cleaned TB, Plugs, wires, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, fixed bad wheel bearings, replaced a leaky radiator, replaced valve cover gasket, changed tranny fluid. (all of that in the past four months.
but I've never changed the coil pack, replaced powersteering fluid, brake fluid, Haven't touched my drum breaks in past 40k. Last time I checked a few months back the break shoes were plenty left to go.
I've got leaky input shaft seal. Leaky head gasket. Leaky rear main seal.
But that's what Mitsu Dealer told me almost 50k ago. Haven't had any problems with it yet eventhough I've to pour in 1qt of oil every two weeks or so.

Going by what your saying..you have many different possiblities. First of all, pouring a quart of oil in every two week is not normal, and im sure its making the $$ add up pretty quickly. My suggestion is to go ahead and change the head gasket. With that there are several different routes you can take, depending on the money you want to spend. Go ahead and replace the front main seal(harmonic balancer is going to be off anyways while your doing the head gasket.)...well i just reread your post..are you sure its the rear seal? Anyways, when the head is off make sure to have it checked to make sure it isnt warped. With that, you could have the head ported and polished, valves replaced if needed or wanted, put in new cams, lifters etc. Basically what im saying is that while your doing the head gasket, any mod you want is possible. If i were you i would go ahead and get an underdrive pulley if you dont already have one. Im sure a few other people can add to the list i just made. Hope this helps

As long as the leak is from the rear main seal, and not being burned past the rings, just replace the seal.
Here's a list that probably should be replaced after 120k: -Oil pump -Water pump -Timing belt (duh) -Accessory belt (depending on mileage on them) -Flush and fill your coolant. -I would get an upper gasket set and replace the exh./intake manifold gaskets. As well as clean out the intake manifold. -Good time to drain and fill trans fluid (every 30k) -If you're still on stock lifters, would be a good time to replace them with the new style (Mopar Performance ones) -Rockers wouldn't be a bad idea either. -Then there's the possibility of changing cams, cam gears, all depens on the $ you want to spend.
