ive been pricing mufflers and have my eye on the apexi N1 muffler for $200. thing is tho im in the process of buying my car and i have hardly any money left over nor will i see money for awhile and there are 2 things i want/NEED, a muffler and a cd player for the new car. i cant stand a quiet car and it has a tape deck in it >=\. just wondering if anyone had any experience with them. i want a nice loud deep sound and the muffler on my car now is from ebay and has that but its a dragger style from a diff company. i just dunno why its only like $40 compared to the $200 or if its just name brand issues. i want to do things the right way with my new car but if i can save money and dont have to wait a couple of months for a muffler id love to do that =).

My brother has one on his probe and it sounds great. Was a little raspy at first, then he installed a resonator and it took care of the problem. Nice low tone

well how much does a resonator cost for that muffler? i really have no clue about those.. im taking it to a muffler shop to have it welded i guess i can talk to them about that, im getting my cat gutted at the same time.

ok i ordered that muffler just now, i hope it pleases me =). now i have to find a cd player and my new car will be set until i get my loans on it knocked down a little =P. (then timing belt changes, gee i just cant wait to spend $$ on that)

Most muffler places have resonators there, just about any resonator will work with the muffler.

thats cool, thanks. i dont know if i will have one put on or not tho. im going with a gutted cat, header, short ram, and muffler. ill talk to them tho and see what they say. because ill be taking it back to get a header on a few weeks after the muffler.
