#58018, "EGR Cel..."

My CEL has been on for a few days now and im pulling code 32 which is for the egr. I dont have it blocked off and i was wondering if there is ANY POSSIBLE way that this could cause the car to misfire, hesitate, or buck? If there is the slightest possiblity just tell me because at this point anything will help. Thanks for replies.

It may do some strange things if the valve was stuck open. You could try removing the valve at the head and cleaning it, or just blocking it off. You could just put a piece of thin steel between the gasket for the egr pipe and the valve and see what happens.

Check the vac line from the egr to the connection on the intake mani. I was throwing the same cel because an incompetent bish at a shop broke the hard line. If that line is not pulling vaccuum then you will get that cel until you fix it and reset your ecu.

I did notice a loss in low end power that felt like a misfire.

Yes it is possible, the EGR is onl suppose to open at certain times, if stuck open. You could be feeding the engine exhaust when you are trying to make power. This could screw up things possibly e your cause. Sounds like time to remove the EGR crap emoji
