ok if/when i get a new eclipse i have a question about mufflers. its a new question too i think. last 2 cars i had i had knockoff mufflers on them, really nice mufflers tho, but one prob. they stuck out a bit or was angled. i dont want to spend a bunch of $$ on a muffler or cat-back but i really a loud deep tone. and a muffler that fits FLUSH with my car for once =P. can anyone point me to a site or anything that has fast shipping times that sells a muffler or catback (im looking $250/300 or less) for an eclipse that is nice and fits good?

I am a really big fan of the N1 and when you talk about N1 you have to think A'PEXi. I got my exhaust from here and it not only sounds excellent but has great flow as well. If you don't want the catback, the cannister by itself is only $200. I would definitely recommend!

He said he didn't want a angled look, but I guess if your going to do a custom setup you could put that cansiter any way you wanted.

I know that the Greddy Evo pretty much takes up all the space back there and sounds really nice from what I have heard.

Check out the review I posted a couple of weeks ago (Vibrant Performance Power 1 muffler). It was difficult to find, but it sounds great!! Later, I will go with a full exhaust, but for now it suits me just fine. Also, a good muffler shop will be able to mount the muffler straight and flush. Note: my muffler is approx. 19" long - the shop cut about 1" off the inlet and welded a custom mandrel-bent tube to set it. I'll post pictures soon (I just got my camera)!!

ok thanks a lot everyone. i think i am going to probably get the apexi cannister. i havent heard one in person but have heard clips of them and liked those.
