iight peeps... I dont know if this is even suppose to be hooked up to anywhere, but if I close it off my engine dies so I dont know.. there is this vacuum tri-line on the back of the throttle body.. I have looked everywhere and I can only figure out that there are 2 lines comin out of it, I cant find any hose or anythng to hook up to the third.. so if anyways knows please let me know..thanks...oh I have the one on the left and the one on the right hooked up, the middle vac nozzle is empty...tia

well if I put a cap on it (my finger) the engine dies, so I just let it vent adn I have no problems, just makin sure this was ok to do..

You should put a cap on that port if you are not using it. If you put your finger over it, the engine should stumble and then readjust. After that, it should be fine. It should not literally "die". The idle air control motor will keep it from dying. The idle air control motor is designed to maintain a certain idle RPM. It will let more or less air past the throttle plate to maintain the RPM. If you pull off a vacuum line, that lets more air into the engine. The IAC motor will adjust by letting less air past the throttle plate. The engine may stumble while the IAC motor is adjusting.

so since my car dies when I put my finger over it.. it's bad? maybe my ics or whatever its called is bad? If you know what 3 ports I'm talkin about on the back/side of the throttle (back if you are in front of your car) does it matter which vacuum port is open? I'm assuming that all 3 are the same and it doesn't matter which is plugged into the vac hose....thanks man

Try capping it with an actual vacuum cap before you start the car and see what happens. If it still dies I would start looking for a cause, starting with the IAC Motor, and moving to things like MAP sensor, TPS, and other sensors from there.
