#57634, "ECU wire harness bolt won't f**king come off!!"

Hey guys, anyone here know how to get the wire harness off from the ECU? I think my problem is the bolt and the thread inside the ECU are spinning together. I'm talking about the bolt that's inside the wire harness with all the wires surrounding it. It's just one damn bolt. I've tried everything but it just won't come off. HELP!

Pull hard at the harness or pull hard at the bolt? I've tried both. But I don't dare to pull too hard cause I don't want to screw anything up.

i will tell u i had the same problem and i ended up haveing to destroy the ECU to get it to come apart, but you can try to clamp the edge very hard with something to get the inside threads to not turn while you turn the bolt, the problem is caused because you or someone else overtightened that bolt, i overtightened it and i had to learn the hard way i hope this helps

Hey man, I don't quite understand what you mean. I can't see the thread and I have no idea how to access into the thread. The thread is inside the ECU. How did you do it exactly? I tired using a plier to hold onto the bolt as tight as I can while turning it with a wrench but I still get the same results. It just spins without coming out.
