I was searching on spun bearings, and I saw in an old post that there was a way that you could change the bearings witout pulling the engine out, but the link was out. I was just wondering if anybody had an update link or knew how.
Also, Im not to sure if I should even attempt this, but I want to learn, I dont really want to spend $900 for a used engine, or $1200 for a shop to fix this. The most it should be are some bearings and a scored up crankshaft right? I would have to get the crank machined and oversized bearings. What kinda bearings? and where? 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 10th Anniversary OZ Edition Check Out My Site For Pix http://mywebpages.comcast.net/EclipseRaceR/MyEclipse/VIS%20CF%20Hood/

Hey Michael- what happened man? You need to pull the engine man... don't attempt to pull the bedplate with the engine installed! I can help you with it if you want.
