Well the saga continues as i go deeper into the motor. I still have extreme hesitation until 4k rpms, to the point where it will backfire and hardly move down the road. I replaced my plugs the other day with the 7e-11's because of my compression and milled head. My gap is currently set to .04, but the plugs look like they are rusty, or rust colored after two days of driving...what does this mean? I heard that we have a knock sensor, could this be the culprit and if so where can i buy one? I just need some input so i can check over the car, im moving in a week and i MUST have a fully functional car. All your input is greatly appreciated.

Ive replaced the coil, wires, plugs, iat, iac, tps, egr, o2, map, battery, head gasket, fuel pump, fuel filter, gas tank, fpr, injectors, air filter, cleared the cat, cam angle sensor, and a few other things i cant think of. I still havent replaced the knock or crank angle sensors. what in the hell could be causing the car to run like this??

I forgot to add that my temp gauge in the car isnt working anymore. I installed indiglos the other day and ever since then it wont work. Could the sensor have shorted out? Ive also heard that the sensor controlls a bit of the fuel mixture for the car..is this true as well?

thanks for the space by the way, i dont mean to post so many times on the same issues but i truely need the help so i can diagnose and finally fix my car. THANKS

Well tomorrow, Matt95_gs is coming over to help me test out a few things and mostly likey fix my timing issue. Having the higher compression means i have to retard the timing. Hopefully tomorrow can be the end of the saga.
