I have no idea what this is or what to look for anyone could help me out id greatly appreciate it...i really cant tell a differnce in the way my car is runnign aside from its running rich...other than that i really dont know what to look for in the first place

That system was only included on the 95 models and has since been recalled. You can take it to the dealer to remove the system and reflash the ECU so that the CEL doesn't come back.

yah just a few days ago they said i had a recall on a aspiration thing...they didnt mention it could make my cel light come on ... yah i gotta get my free ball joints as well but i just havnt made it up there .thx a bunch

it wasn't actually a recall, it was a TSB. If it came in with a problem under warranty, they'd remove it and fix the ecu so it didn't throw a code for it. It's not free, and you might have trouble getting it done. My advice would be to print out the TSB (2GNT.com main site -> sections -> recalls/TSB's) and show it to them and have them perform the recommended service for that TSB. You'll probably get charged.

ya my dealer was being an ass about it. my car has had the recall done but was still throwing that code (the solenoid and everything was already removed). so i go to the dealer and tell them exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done. they tell me they need to do a full diagnostic exam and that it'll be like $100. and after that they'll charge me for whatever needs to be done to fix it. i was like fuck that i'll live with the light on.
