While changing my fuel filter, the fuel line that runs to the bottom of the filter snapped off! I have about two inches of fuel line running into the filter, and the rest is still connected to the car. How in the hell can i repair this without buying a new fuel line?? Please guys i have to fix this tomorrow..brainstorm}(

I suppose that you could try and patch it up....maybe with a few line fittings or connectors that you buy from your local auto parts store. BUT! I would really reccomend that you FIX IT THE RIGHT WAY! A new line isn't going to be that expensive (although I don't know how difficult)to replace. And the last thing that I would think that you want is a fuel leak. This is not the type of thing that I would try and jerry-rig myself. No type of tape or cheap sealer that I can think of will hold up to being soaked in gasoline for very long anyways.

if your talking about one of the metal ones, just get a tubing cutter and cut off the fuct up part on the ends and use some rubber fuel hose to connect the two.
