Why is it that there are times when I run a little lean somedays and a bit rich on others? TEmp? Besides that.. I do run leaner than normal at WOT on 4th and 5th gears. Is that normal? a S-AFC can adjust that right? thanks fellas..

Its completly normal to run leaner in higher gears. This is because of the greater load on the motor in higher gears. This is why you normally want to tune the motor in WOT in 4th gear. Nothing you can really do about it..Also, warm temps will make you run richer, and cold temps make you run leaner.

Exactly, but I tune for 3rd gear because in the 1/4 mile, I don't hit 4th gear It depends on what speed you are running your car to. If you have a turbo or nitrous, defenitely tune for 4th. If you don't, then 3rd is fine. Even if you do end up going on the highway and running in 4th gear at high rpms, you shouldn't be lean enough to cause any problems (if you got your tuning in 3rd gar correct)
