just browsing thru Howell's site and saw a listing for eagle rods, and then a listing for eagle extreme roads for a lil more $

what is the difference b/t the two?

i tried a search, but couldnt find a comparison...

I am taking a wild guess here, but I think the design of the rod is different. Not a great deal, but I think they did something to the edges of the rods to give them a bit more strength and rigidity. I bet Motofool would know.

So they have the regular, Eagle rods, and the Extreme ones. Are either of those the ESP H-rods? That's what I just got. I'm curious what I got in terms of top of the line, etc.

stronger rod bolts is the difference....

eagle makes 2 rods I beam and H beam then they give u stronger rod bolts in the extremes...

so....stronger rod bolts is the only reason the extremes are listed at $150 more?


the rods themselves are the same tho?

Mine came with the ARPs. I take it that's a good thing!

Maybe the extremes come with solid, hardened Ti ARP monster bionic bolts then.

both come w/ arp rod bolts

the regular ones come w/ ARP 2000 bolts, the extremes come w/ "ARP Custom Age 625 bolts 270 KPsi tensile strength"
