#56563, "Is this the right TB?"

Ok, I know you guys have gone over variations of this topic a million and two times but... I have just bought a Jeep TB from a 1993 Cherokee. I just wanted to know if this looks like the TB I am looking for, you see I never actually took it off of the Jeep so I have no way of confirming this is actually off a Jeep or if this is the right one.

Also, when measuring to determine the size of the TB, I am assuming that it is the inner diameter of the opening not the outter. If this is correct then the measurement I have gotton is 62mm. Is this possible? Was there a 62mm throttle body made for Jeeps??

Anyway here is the picture, please confirm that this is what I need!

Thanks
Brent

that what mine looked like after i got it from the yard. then i did the modding, and cleaning while i had it apart, looks factory installed.
but i thought that 60mm straight through was the biggest you could get factory, but what do i know.

Ok, im on the right track with the right TB (might be big, but it is tapered!) I have done some searching on here to find a writeup on this Mod and came up with this

http://www.dimensia.com:81/jimbo/JeepTBfor2gnt.html

Problem is, there is no pictures... Not that pictures are needed when you know what you are doing, but I dont, and by the sounds of the first couple of pages of this writeup it is describing things visually and without images it is hard!

Does anyone have a link to this writeup with some images?

Thanks
B.

I dont know about you but i dont see any images when the page loads. And being that this is a VFAQ that references the pictures it is hard to follow what it is that I am supposed to do without them.

Yeah, I was gonna say thats wierd not being able to get pictures. You kind of need them for certain things in there.

Yeah that looks like a good one. They didn't make a 62mm TB. It may be 62mm at the very very opening of it but if you measure the butterfly plate it should be 60mm. Also, if you measure the bottom opening - it'll probably be 55mm. Anyways - yeah that one looks like it'll work.

Thanks and good luck with it.
