Since I couldnt find any pics of what the BlackDog tensioner looked like. i will post a pic of mine that I got for $50 from them.

And AEM cam gears come with bolts that strip and are hard to torque. I got some new bolts from Napa for like $5.00. here is a pic of both of these.

thats their tensioner thats a piece of cake to make, there is no way in hell I would use it though, Im not adjusting that sucker every month or so, NO WAY, hydraulic is the only way to go

Hydralic won't always hold against high lift cams and heavy valve springs. You don't really want that thing flapping around your intake cam gear, do you?

Not really a problem for most of us, but it has been known to happen to 2.4 Neons with big cams and heavy valvetrain mods.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

The timing belt is a pretty beafy belt, and will need to be retensioned every once and a while, but unless you put on some obscene mileage in a month it won't need to be that frequent.

Most hondas have solid tensioners. I don't know many people who have adjusted their tension any other time than replacing their belt.
