hey i was readin the mods section and u can shorten the shifter yourself. I was gonna try this so if there is anyone who has done it- how does it work? Good??? Maybe save some buckaroos...

He shortened the stock one for me and it is BAD ASS!! I can shift by moving my hand just a little bit and it's a really smooth shift too. I highly recommend this shifter, plus it's a LOT cheaper than buying a b&m for almost $200.

yeah im waiting in a loonngg line to get one.. but he tells me he has a long list. i dont mind waiting... he seems to have a good grasp on things like that... he may start to make sway bars.. hes a pretty cool cat.

Hey guys, i just shortened my shifter today and man it is SWEEEET!!! Don't waste your money on other stuff!!! Since i had all the tools and an arc welder, it cost me nothing!!! If u have a jig saw, and a vice or somthin to hold it, cut it and take it to an exaust shop, they might weld it for u. It shifts awsome now, doesn't cover the radio contols, and is a hella lot more comfortable to shift(doesn't feel like my hand is way up in the air). I highly recommed!!! Shit for 20 bucks, send it to me and i'll do it for ya!!
