Hey, I just recently bought a used ECU and after I installed it, my fuel cuts off at 6,500 RPM and my CEL is on. I did the key dance and I got the error code, 12-66-55. I found out that 12-55 are normal codes and 66 means that my TCM has been disconnected. The problem is, my car is a manual and only automatic cars have TCMs. That means the ECU I bought was from an automatic. Any idea what I could do to get rid of the fuel cut and the CEL? HELP!

yep you bought the wrong ECU
and corbin I thought someone already tried and it gave all sorts of problems and the tranny wont shift (limp mode right away) I think there is no c2 bus for the ecu to communicate with the TCU so you get a CEL and limp mode

Yeah, it won't shift.. but you'll be able to wind out second until 7200RPM

Hey guys, thanks for giving me a reality check. I was hoping I could do something about the AT ECU but I guess not. So I'm just gonna send my original ECU for repair and use the AT ECU temporarily. Thanks anyway.
