Well ive got the engine pulled from the car while im replacing the stuff from where i spun that bearing. What else should i do while the motor is out to increase performance? Any suggestions?

96 Eclipse Base 5 spd
Rebuilt engine w/ forged internals, APC Air Filter, Clear bumper lenses, 15" ICW wheels, Alpine v12 amp, 2 12" Xplodes, 5.6" lcd monitor, Dvd player, Playstation 2, Power1 Exhaust, Aerospeed Wing, Altezza tails w/ painted center, 20% tint, Silver Graphics, Audiovox alarm system.

Big transformation underway this winter!

do0d! Defintitely try to pick up a clutch and new throwout bearing. I got a PT Cruiser clutch from Bob Kise and then snagged a bearing from the local Satan for about $41 incl tax.

If you've got it out, you might look into getting a rebuild kit from Motofool. I would assume you don't want to pull it again for a while, right? emoji

New headgasket? port&polish your TB & mani?

I say clean up your engine bay.....there is nothing prettier then a very well organized engine bay




Performance: Stuff that makes my car run better or go faster

Looks: Stock because looks doesnt make my car go faster or run better

Weight Reduction: CF Hood, No A/C or Powersteering Accessories, No rear interior

^^That's my suggestion too. Grab a can of degreaser, a few rags, and some new wire looming and have a blast while you have room to work in there!
