Alright, I'm gonna be calling ARD and VT tomorrow to get quotes and see what they think, but I figured I'd tap the wealth of knowledge around here and see what you guys say.

First of all, I had considered a 2.4L engine swap, but I decided against it in the end for a number of reasons. So, all of these plans relate to the stock 2.0L 420A:

Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
Crane #14 Cams
Crane Adjustable Cam Gears
Crane Valve Springs with Titanium Retainers
Stainless Steel Valves

That's all I have at this point. I'm not concrete on any of it, so if people have anything to substitute, please shout so I can get it down.

As far as port and polish/competition valve jobs/etc., what's best to go for? I'm replacing the TB and intake mani, so forget those. I'm refering to the engine only. Keep in mind a T3/T4 hybrid is in this engine's future, so I'm looking at the capability to hold a good deal of power.

Ideas? Suggestions? Materials I should read?

Thanks,
Corey

I'd add lifters and rockers to the list, but otherwise she looks good.

Smooth idle? We don't need no stinking smooth idle.

If you really want to do it right, send the pistons, rods, and bearings off the be coated (swaintech).
