Hi guys. This is very urgent, please all ATX tranny people help me.
I took out my old tranny. And just about to put in my new tranny. But then I just realize one thing.
The electric part is different.
Check out the below pictures.
The above is the old Tranny on my 1996 Mit Eclipse GS
The above is the new Tranny from a 95 or 96 Talon (non-turbo)
You guys see the difference? One of the socket is different....and there is an extra one at the side... CAN I STILL INSTALL the tranny, and split out the cable later or some sort? Answer QUICK!!!
THANKS ALOT. I greatly appreciated. I will check every 1 mintues! Gil:wary
******EDIT - UPDATE (3:07PM 7/12/03)****** Ok, I been reading the manual, and it said, the Mit Eclipse socket (the one in red circle) It's the "transaxle range sensor" which consist of a transaxle range sensor and a oil temperature sensor.
So, now the Talon new Tranny has 2 sensor, I believe they are those two sensors but seperated. But the pins are TOTALLY different!!!!
The Mit Eclipse has 9 Pins total, While the Talon has 3pins per each socket.(6 total)
So what can I do? Please help!!!!
