#54841, "a/f gauge reading rich"

my autometer air fuel meter gauge is reading very rich lately, i know that it only had the correct reading at WOT so i tried that and it and very rich, now its even rich when im im not at wot. it only sometimes does the whole spectrum of color thing that it does. i checked my CAI and it looked fine. i changed it to my shortram just to test it out, and its the same thing. my filters are clean and all. does anyone know what it could be? thank you.
