Well my upstream o2 sensor decided to die on me. It smokes n I can smell the excess fuel not being burned off.Im plannin on getting a new one but I have heard lots of issues about getting the bosch or oem one. Id like to hear some opinions on what some of you guys think. Also I have no clue really how to change the o2 sensor. i learn quickly though. do you have to have a special wrench to take it out? all info and help is greatly appreciated thanks.

I just bought the one that Napa had. It works fine. Real easy to replace too. Jack the car up on the passenger front (or the whole front if you want). Make sure the car is COOL since you will be working with exhaust pipes right next to you. And no you don't need a special tool. I just took mine off w/ a crecent wrench. It was tough to get off (as in it was really on there). Mine was a universal so I had to cut the wires going to the sensor then splice the new O2 in. Put some anti sieze (that came w/ the O2) on the threads of the new O2 and put it back in and torque it to factory specs. Not to difficult at all. Good luck.
