Ok... i bought my car a few months ago... when i purchased it it already had intake, header exhaust, cam gears, and i dont know about cams... supposively it does have aftermarket cams and my mechanic said it did also when my timing belt got throwen and i had to replace some valves. But anyways, my cam gears are set kind of weird to be "stock". The mechanic said he lined them up by opening another motor like mine and setting it to stock settings. Anyways.. my exhaust cam gear is set at like 4advanced and thats supposed to be factory setting??? I'm just really confused on this. Is their anyway to tell if i have aftermarket cams besides taking off my valve cover??? Sorry if this is hard to understand but any replies would be appreciated...

all boltons plus cams and its still slow.....

from what i know the only way to see the cams is to takeoff the vavle cover, even then its not like it sez crane cams or what ever all over it.

I bet if you pull your valve cover (15 min job) and snap a pic of what you've got up close and then post that pic here, you'll have a real expert's opinion in no time.

I'll just keep modding my "slow" car. emoji
