ok, when i'm in park and neutral my idle goes to about 3k, but when i'm in drive its normal. what the hell is going on, i cleaned my tb with carb cleaner and i know i did it right. would this be caused by my iac motor? what else can i check.

yeah, i had a high idle, because my gasket between my tb and mani was bad. and when my ac came on the idle went down cuz it bogged it down there to normal. but i just got some gasket maker and made another. you can try opening up your rb and takin out the iac motor see if it is jammed all the way in. you can try to mess with it, or just go to satan and have them use the drb3 or whatever it is called to adjust it if that is the prob. i don't have much exp. with autos.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Did you unplug the vacume line on the throttle body by accident? Also like they said, double check to make sure you have the plate closed all the way and cable is ok...

Good Luck....

who is satan. where are they located.

now my idle is calmed down, it seems when i punch it while i'm driving then go to stop or park it acts fine, but if i'm just coasting at like 25mph then go to stop it idles high, at like 2k. also i don't even have to push the gas when i drive, from a stop if i take my foot off the brake the car will make it up to 24 mph all by it self after about 3 min....
