Ok heres the deal... I just bought a missing link for my Star Stage 1 turbo kit... I was first just wonderin if I kept the black box plugged into the MAP sensor WITH the missing link plugged into the intake manifold, or do I just use the missing link without the black box that came with the Star kit..

Also... Right now Im not using the black box with my missing link, and I still have hesitation problems over 4k at WOT... Could this be because of my spark plugs, which I never changed when I get the turbo kit... Ive already read the posts regardin the spark plugs so I know to get the NGK plugs, just wonderin if that would cause hesitation over 4k at WOT...

Thanks guys for any advice... I just spent $3000 on a turbo kit and its pretty much just a noise maker...

You need to change your plugs. The stock plug gap is too large to run with boost. Get one range colder plugs, and gap to around .033-.035. I'll be that solves the problem.

Ok and does anyone know if I should keep the star black box with my missing link, or just use the missing link by itself...??

someone from the turbo forum told me that the missing link does mechanically what the black box does electronically. they said you can leave it on or take it off it doesnt really matter. i ordered my missing link on friday and im gonna leave the black box in also
