Okay. car just died! and i mean DIED! no lights, no clicking, no nothing!!! went to start it and lights and everything came on for about 1 second (didnt even get key turned all the way over in ignition) then i heard a half click, half pop sound and then nothing!!!

i changed my front O2 sensor yesterday, and reset the ECU. everything ran fine afterwards, till now!

What happens when computer goes tits up???????

No fusable links are blown in the fuse box.

ANY ideas?
thanks
tim

You said you reset the computer, are you sure you put the connectors back on right? I would check the battery first to make sure it's charged.

I take it you've tested to see if your battery is charged.

Try disconnecting the battery and let it sit for a bit.

Sounds stupid but...your battery emoji Check all the connections around the battery again (as i assume you have alread emoji). Check to make sure you put the right fuses are in the right spots. Made hte mistake of putting my "engine" fuse in some weird spot and thought my car was toast. Just a misplaced fuse.

EDIT - DOH, I shoulda read everyone elses posts first...hehe i think we've all come to the early conclusion your battery's the culprit

My car does that sometimes. I have to get out and take off the + and snug it back on. Then it works fine. its probably happend to me 20 times in the last year ive had this car. I can tell thats the problem cause i turn the acc on, but as soon as i goto turn the starter over it clicks and everything dies. weird. I assume its just a bunk terminal connection.
