#54103, "knock sensor"

Hey I recently took of my knock sensor since I heard thats what would stop the hesitation(is that the piece connected to the side of the block?)I found oil in there is that normal? I also found oil in my air intake hose right before the tb. Weird but does anyone know why this is happening? Also my car ran 75% better after cleaning the knock sensor but after driving it for a few hours the hesitation came back espicailly with the ac on.

the knock sensor is on the back side of the block, about in the middle.

the only way for oil to get in there is with the knock sensor off.
