Apex n1 is the damn best exhaust out there. i have a rs-t with a stage 2 star kit with the 3 " apex n1 cat back. Larger the better if your going with the turbo mod. Its nice and quite and almost no back pressure. Just remove the silencer

^^^^^what he meant to say was get the gs-t version. it is the 3". the rs/gs version is only 2.5" or so. the gs-t is direct bolt on. its a beautiful thing. i am getting one, soon.....

yes, the only diff is that its 3in compared to 2.5(gs/rs) and goes under the suspension rather than over

The problem with getting the 3" when your NA is it's going to sound horrid, if you've ever heard 3" exhaust on an NA its just disgusting I would recommend keeping the silencer in until your boosted.

The other problem with the 3" exhaust as a N/A is going to be that you will have little to no backpressure thus reducing your ability to create torque and effect your overall horsepower. Basically, don't put a 3" exhaust if your not going turbo.

the silencer should compensate for back pressure .. if u notice when having it in the exaust comes out almost like a laser beam ... if that isnt back pressure i dont know what is

^^^ what he said. you can disregard what the people who do not actually have a GST apexi n1 exhaust said. it's all theory. i actually have the turbo exhaust on my NA car and it sounds great. didn't even notice the loss i low end. definite high end gains though. you won't be disappointed even if you don't end up going turbo. emoji

basically.. if you're going turbo get the GST exhaust to reduce back pressure. if you're not going turbo then you're NA and you need back pressure for low end power which means get the GS exhaust. If you get a GST exhaust and put it on a GS with no turbo you will lose low end horsepower and maybe gain some top end hp..but your car wont be as fast. But sinc you're getting turbo i definately recommend getting the GST exhaust and everything will fit up perfectly. However, dont get the GSX exhaust because the piping is different because they are AWD and we are FWD.
