Can I just take off the AC/PS belt??
Will it hurt the PS pump if I drive without the belt??
If so what's the best way to eliminate the power steering and A/C??
Thanks.

Well hey man it is not going to hurt your Power steering pump I wouldn't think b/c it wont be touching. It may cause damage to your steering unit under the car though. My belt broke once and I drove around for a week and it was ok. You will build some serious muscles but I mean the ladies love it!! I hope that help a little.

i just took off my belt, took out the pump, both of the fist hoses, send and return comming off of the pump. put a rubber cap on the open hard line and open port on the reservoir. (drain ps fluid into something before attemting to cap it off). then i made sure the reservoir stayed intact and full so the system is still lubed, or so i hope haha.

took five minutes, i did that and threw a cone filter onto my throttle body at the same time, noticed a difference. i ran 15.9 with my car before doing that stuff and porting the hell out of the throttle body and intake mani and some more weight reduction (100+lbs aditional removed recently). ill let you know what it runs this weekend since the changes. better be mid 15's on an rs with nearly free mods and low 14's with some nitrous and a couple other small cheap changes.
