what is the best way to get the transmission mount out. I took out all the nuts and the bolt going sideways through it but it gets stuck on the bolts coming up from the tranny.

jack up the tranny a little and you should be able to wiggle it off. Your talking about the one on the fire wall side right?

Well if you have the main center bolt out it should just lift right out. But you may have to jack the tranny up or down to free it up.

the bottom of the mount is getting caught on the metal that the side bolt goes through. I cant get the tranny down far enough to were i can slide the mount of all three bolts that come up from the tranny

Disconnect the front motor mount and drop the engine down further. That'll give you the room you need to finesse that mount off.
