it will but you'll need the harness also. the early 2g's had a different plug and harness than the later 2g's so you'll need that but the wire colors are the same so they will all connect together.

do u have any idea what they cost just the harness? does this help me at all having this? besides running effecient ?

It's the same power output as stock, I'd trust MSD as a better than stock replacement as far as reliabiity etc...

Price depends on new OEM or junkyard. junkyard I'd guess a few bucks, EOM probably charge something like $15, but those are total guesses.

When my coil back blew the local parts store only had the ones with the new style plug in stock. It came with the plug and a length of wire. I just had to cut the old plug off and solder the new one on. Pretty easy, on the other hand doing the same thing to my crank angle position sensor was a royal pain in the ass. I had to reach around the sway bar with both hands and ended up dripping hot solder on my face a few times.
