Yep last night as I was driving home I finally hit the big 100k, I hope it lasts another 100k ^_^ Wish I had a camera to take a picture of the odometer.
anyway I'm 650 miles into the break in. 450 more and I'm gonna start rompin on it. Couple questions I got. I did a compression test and I got woohoo 270 265 250 272 much higher than last time when I was getting around 250. I'm wondering though I was cleaning the spark plugs and last time I remember I kinda grinded a piece of the metal tip on the back part of the spark plug because I was using the dremel to file the electrode down (not a good idea). Could that have caused it to run lean and mess the cylinder up or am I paranoid. I got some 7s ready to be installed when I hit 1k but think I'll install them sooner to be safe.
also another thing is that the car burns a lotta oil I had to put like 2 quarts eversince I've been driving the thing 650 miles ago. Its not through blowby also because I checked my catch can after 650 miles and it bone dry! So the oil is either getting burned up in the combustion chamber somehow or I have an oil leak somewhere. I'm guessing its because I'm still breaking the thing though. My tailpipe is all black and stuff so maybe that could be burnt up oil or it could be fuel. any guesses? The plugs looked a bit black but they weren't caked with carbon so the mixture is about right.

hmm, im not really sure, but new rebuilds "soak" up some oil. im not sure on the quantity though. so it could be that? 2 quarts i would think is quite a bit though. grats on the 100k hehe. im 1/4th there!
