I just purchased an aftermarket 4-2-1 header from Rapid Motorsports and I was wondering if there was anything else I would need to install it? It comes with the header, downpipe and flex. Any extra bolts needed or any info to make the job easier please let me know!

Thanks everyone!

(Sorry guys I got so excited I got my header and did not even try to search the forum, after searching I found the same damn question about a million times so no need to reply to this!)

Should need any extra bolts. The only thing I can think of that you will need that you didn't list would be all the new gaskets. Most headers do come with those. Other than that I would say patience is a virtue. Take your time on the old manifold bolts, the ones around the front of the cat if you have one, and the O2 sensor. That's all you need is to break off those junk bolts in your block or have to buy a new 02. Goodluck man. (Hopefully you won't have to refit your header as I did)

ok, do get all those rusted bolts off go to the autoparts store or hardware store and buy a can of "Liquid Wrench" its made by Gunk. Also while you are at the hardware store go ahead and buy stainless steel bolts and washers as they look better and wont rust. Get one of the bolts off and take it with you and match up the same size and threads. Get good gaskets too...not crappy ones.
