#5259, "HIGHEST NON-TURBO HP"

Hey, which one of you guys can claim to have the highest horsepower on a non-turbo? Exactly what mods do you have on your car to produce such gains? How much stock HP do our cars have, 140 or so, right?

If I had to guess, Skrilla is going to be abl;e to claim that at the moment.

Engine:
- ~13.3:1 compression motor on timing retard
- 12.5:1 CR on Weisco pistons
- Mutiny-reground camshafts (soon to be crower from Raizin)
- Ported TB
- Ported intake Manifold
- Ported cylinder head
- 440cc injectors (running between 40-50 percent lean)
- AEM cam gears
- UDP
- Hotshot headers (mild port)
- Custom mandrel bent 2¾” exhaust (this is new* and will be installed Saturday)
- MSD DIS-4
- HKS super-mega flow filter on my (below)
- AEM CAI
- Port matched cylinder head
- Solid MM
- SAFC

I'm guessing my crank numbers are about 175-185 which is around 35-40HP. With professional cumbustion chamber and valve work I think it can be better.

Other:
- Mild chassis lightening ~50 pounds (actually offsets my stereo)
- Battery relocated to rear passenger side of trunk
- 16x7 inch Enkei Zokus on 205 series(until my "R" rims are done)
- RMDSM AWD sway bars
- Illuminas w/ GC CO

On My G-tech I've run consistent 15.3's and 0-60 in as little as 6.5s up to 6.8s on the regular. I think I can go faster with thicker tires only time will tell. These aren't the most accurate numbers but stock GS-T's barely edge me out and win so those numbers are close enough. I can hit 150mph (the manuals top speed gear limit) almost at will, and regularly hit 125-135mph while blasting to work in the morning (at 5:30AM)
I'm too cheap to spend my money on dyno runs because that is another 50 bucks I could spend on a set of grinding wheels for my dremel or die grinder in porting engine pieces or finding another inexpensive way to make my car faster through welding cutting or porting.

Right now my biggest project is the front nuckle RM abandoned a couple years ago for bigger wider tires that will almost fit inside a wheel well. I would love to have 9" wide tires (at least in the front) for traction and cornering. It will be that until I get my 2.4L block

I think that would put me one step behind Skirla

- ported head, intake manifold, and TB
- 3 and 5 valve job
- milled head (I just milled it even more
- Crane #16 cams
- crane valve springs
- PT rockers and lifters
- AEM cam gears
- ice man CAI
- AFX UDP
- hothots headers
- 2.5 test pipe
- Greddy cat back
- S-AFC
- wires, plugs, and gauges

soon to come mods

- 12.5:1 pistons
- MSD so I can retard the timing on pump gas
- eagle rods
- and some major weight reduction

the car is still not running, but I just got the head back and will start putting it back together tomorow.

Adel <----- hates forcing things around emoji ok ok here is what I meant ! why force air or NOS into your motor when you can get about the same power by helping the engine sucking more air into it emoji J/K

Well, I'm not sure about dnyo runs, but I'd say I'm right there with Srkilla. My G-tech runs have varied from 14.9-15.3 on a good night (meaning I can catch traction) and my 0-60's have been in the 6.29 range but normally stay in the mid to upper 6's. I also have ran up against redline in 5th gear which equals out to around 150mph. Now, at the track I've run a 15.5 with blown rear struts on a hot rainy 90 degree day. My best friend owns a 97 GS-T with a drop in K&N and the free mods and I run neck and neck with him till around 100mph (we let off after that). I really need some suspension work badly as well as some solid motor mounts. I'd also like to get a pulley. I wont be all-motor for long as I have a badass turbo system sitting in the garage emoji
