Does the complete engine rebuilt(bottom and top end) gasket set come with a good MLS headgasket?
Is the bottom end gasket set from mopar and mitsu the same exact kit?
Basically, I need the bottom end gasket kit now and wondering if it was just more cost effective to order a complete engine kit from mitsu instead of buying it separate(bottom mopar kit from howell and then the MLS headgasket/complete top end gasket kit from mitsu later on).
Any and all info regarding gasket kits from vendors and mitsu or mopar would be great.

All the gaskets will be the exact same wherever you get it. I would call Bob kise and order the whole thing for a great price. The top end kit will come with the HG and everything above it. The bottom will come with everything below the HG. Just make SURE you order it for a 2gnt because bob deals with a lot of neon stuff.

yeah they dont make one complete engine gasket set(not that i know of) but if you get the upper set and the lower set, that gives you every single gasket needed on the motor. Whatever metal to metal parts are left that need sealing(oil pump, bedplate-to-block) you use an anerobic sealant.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like I will just buy the lower gasket set now and then the upper later when the head is being put back together. I already get a 25% discount with no sales tax on my parts from a local mitsu dealer so this is not an issue.
Damn cryotreating everything in the short block is not cheap. Trying to build a bullet proof bottom end...hopefully this will be the last time. Having to spread the cost out is my only option right now, but I am getting to go all out on the build.
I do have one more question if you wouldn't mind. My local mitsu parts guy is a dumb shit and ALWAYS fucks up the part numbers/orders the wrong shit. Does anyone have the MITSUBISHI part numbers for...

Thank for the assistance!
