hey everyone....ive been havin quite the time here. i recently replaced the water pump cuz it seized and all three belts. it even got up and ran like it was new after a few miles of the ecu adjusting. i drover it for like 30 min to my friends house and the alternator belt snapped, rapped around the crank pully, and chewed the timing belt. now when it snapped it just stalled like it hit the timing and jumped it. so i didnt start it. the next morning i did a 3 hour timing belt change over, and all it does now is just turn over. all pulleys are moving, and timing belt is still tight. checked spark plugs...1 and 4 are blue and 2 and 3 are orange. please help me!! i need to get it out of my friends yard, and need it to get a job. any ideas are great at this point. thanks alot in advance everyone

--------
so did you timing belt break too? if it did your gonna have bent intake valves(probably 4 of em) and will need to replace them.
----------

>>so i didnt start it. the next morning i did a 3 hour timing
>>belt change over, and all it does now is just turn over.
---------
try pumping the gas pedal while turning it over, if it backfires from the intake its the valves for sure.

---------
1 and 4 are blue and 2 and 3 are orange??????????????? are 2 of the plugs wet and the other 2 look normal?

no...none of the spark plugs are wet, just regapped them not too long ago(like a month or two). the belt never broke for timing, and it really just seems like its not gettin gas. i think that cuz it DOESNT backfire when i pump the gas. and like i said it ran fine, but all of teh sudden stalled and didnt start again. oh, and matt, the car is like 45 from my house and i cant find my comp tester, so if you could let me borrow it that would be cool.

Well mine did the same thing when I first got it, nothing was broken or damaged but it just wouldnt start. Sounded like it was gonna turn over but nothing...checked all fuses/belts/plugs...Bad ECU! Sent it off to a company to get it fixed but they said it was fried so bad i needed a new one. Called the junk yard, bought a used ECU for $150.00, popped it in and it started right up. Yours might be a diff prob, but If you got a friend with another ECU to try, I would do it if everything else looks fine.

When I got my stroker up and running, everything was fine. I moved the car 10 feet and it died on me. It cranked over and over like it "wanted" to start but wouldn't. I heard my inline pump so I knew I was getting fuel. Next thing I checked was spark. Sure as Sh!T no spark. Coil went dead on me. Replaced it............. and I'm on the road. Check for spark and change the coil before you go and replace the ECU. Good lick man.
