I dunno if this should be in the performance section or in the turbo but anyway...

whats the stock injector size in our motors?

How much boost/fuel pressure can they handle?

235cc (22 lb/hr)

Not much... 9psi boost @ 110psi fuel pressure. (not recommended)

I'd say to stay around 8psi with stock injectors. Going a lot over that you are really going to start overunning injectors. Running then at such high pressures shortens their life.

Thanks guys. At stage one on 8.8 to one comp pistons I would only attempt that much boost with race gas in the tank anyway. Gotta save up some cash for injectors and an intercooler emoji

It's not a matter of octane, it's a matter of pure flow rate. there's no problem at all on 93 octane at 10 psi. But you can only flow so much through the stock injectors, even at high pressure, which isn't the best idea. Running lean has nothing to do with octane, if there's not enough fuel, there's not enough fuel 93 or 120 octane doesn't matter.
