I threw 2 belts a couple days ago and i'm just about ready to give up and tow it to the same jackass that did my belts originally and messed them up. I've only had these belts for 3 months and they were thrown...before I completely give up though,
how do you get to the alternator adjustor bolt..top? bottom? what do you have to remove to get to it? I have multiple extentions/flexies and I still can't for the life of me get to it.

P.S. I took off the front pass wheel, and the cover on the bottom, and still could not get a socket on there, and it is too far for a wrench....thanks

Wow man, ur lucky im here I just had problems with my bolts within the last 3 days also. Only my adjuster bolt fell off of my car . I found it but here is how it works. You have to jack up the car. Lay underneath the passanger side and look straight up past the oil pan and past the drive shaft. You should be able to see your alternator and a bolt that you can turn. That is the bolt you turn to tighten/loosen the belt. If you look at the alternator from the top you should be able to see the "adjuster lock bolt" only it isnt really a bolt its a nut. loosen that nut so that you can adjust the adjuster bolt. After the adjuster nut is loosened lay under the car and loosen or tighten the adjuster bolt. To tighten the belt, turn the bolt like you were tightening the bolt, to loosen it go the opposite way. I hope that helps...any more questions just post on here again.
