Last year I had a problem With huge vac leak which ended up being the metal egr pipe had holes in it where weld broke open... It fixed for now w/ JB weld. Im doing engine rebuild right now and thinking about eliminating the EGR by just blocking it off. Anyone have pros and cons or have done this?

Makes your car heat up slower and keeps your intake mani cleaner..right..
