ok I've driven the thing about 300 miles and I've noticed it running rich. Like the exhuast tip is hella black, it even get so black that the bumper is starting to get stained, but when I drive it, it seems fine runs good I watch the AF ratio gauge and the little led is always trying to compensate to get better fuel ratio (haven't been going WOT yet). I even turned off my inline pump because I knew I wouldn't be boosting that much.
is it suppose to be like this after a rebuild? Maybe its because I port and polished everything even the intake side. I just don't want it to foul my cat and o2 sensor so far they're fine, haha I even did the sniff the tail pipe thing and after its hot it smells good (I'm sure it not healthy but it won't kill me like an untuned superrich engine).

Most people are poor after a rebuild. Forged internals aren't cheap, y'know... -=B-=
Dude, Boeing called. They want their wing back.

I am kinda having the same problem but i had some major major port work done on the head. i have an AFC and bigger injectors to compensate though for the extra fuel and air. even on stock injectors it did run slighty rich at low throttle. if it is a problem best thing is to get an afc

you know I thought I was the only one. I have the 30ib injectors and your A/F guage. When I'm on the highway and go half open throttle the a/f guage reads 1.XXX and the egt doesnt go pass 14-1500. But when I wot at 13psi the a/f read about .92 in 4th gear. Not sure which one to worry about.

The ECU is confused by the different flow caracteristics of the porting. When you are going WOT, it's grabbing MAP and O2. partial throttle there are so many adjustment points, the ECU isn't seeing what it's used to.
With an S-AFC you should be able to clean this up. The stock ECU may eventually clean this up, but without some form of fuel management, it may never get back to what fuel the engine should get.

hmm dang maybe I shouldn't have port and polished it , its wierd though its not like it lacks power or anything seems to run like it did b4 maybe that could be the problem oh well for now I guess I should just keep on driving it and hope it learns.
b4 I did the rebuild the compression was 150-130 and after I get like 220-240 (yeah I shoulda bored out the block ) I put in JE 10.5:1 pistons.
