#51660, "sputter below 3K"

i have an 97 rs with no mods. below 3K it sputters misses. if i push it past that and keep it above that limit it runs good. if i lug along it misses alot. i have good plugs, wires changed the pcv and fuel filter and checked the coil pack. up until the miss started ive never had a problem. ive also checked the codes and got 55. when i checked the coil i got a slightly low reading on one side center to back terminal. everything else was in spec. when a coil fails does it have high or low ohms. any help is appereciated

CEL 55 is "end of codes" it is not a problem.
If the coil goes out, I think the readings go up. More resistance is bad in this regard. See if you can find a buddy with a 420A who give you 30 minutes to try swapping coils with to test it out.
