ok I got the car running last week and ever since I started the car, its been idling funny. Like the needle vibrates like -1 - +1 inHG at like around -17.

I'm wonder whats causing this. It maybe a vacuum leak but I checked them and they seem fine. Here's what I think it might be:

*Vacuum leak somewhere
*Engine isn't broken in yet (you engine builders can tell me if this is it)
*I port and polished almost everything so maybe its getting too much air or something
*I didn't smoothen out the TB enough so it's causing air turbulence
*some of the sensors in the intake manifold are trippin out since I port and polished them with them in the manifold particularly the map sensor. (I did rinse em with water and stuff)

ne1 have any ideas? Got me puzzled O_0

You bumped compression up and reworked the entire engine, give the ECU some time to get used to it... how long have you had it running? The extra air and higher compresion will require some adjustment.

had it running 200 miles already, I would've figured it'd learn by now. I guess I gotta give it more time. Its doesn't seem bad but its not normal either O_0

P&P could cause this. Did you have your head worked on? Valve seals? Check to make sure your O-rings are down tight on your injectors too. Otherwise, 17 Hg's of vac isn't bad.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

I didn't replace any of the seals emoji I didn't know how to, is that what those rubber things are in the uppergasket kit? Maybe next timing belt change I'll have the head worked on. I'm not very good with valvetrain emoji I port and polished it myself with the valves in, just gasket match and polished everything.

it seems like its running fine so I'll just see whats up.

Valve guides should be done by a machine shop. Probably not a good thing to P&P a head w/ valves in. You might have debris on a valve seat that won't let the valve completely seat. That would cause fluctuating vac. It would prob run like crap on that cyinder though. I'd wait it out and see what happens in a little while.

Shit is all apart. Typical...
