OK. I am planning if all goes well to have the hRC stage 2 FMIC'd by winter time. HOPEFULLY. So, I hae an auto tranny. Can it handle it stock? Als, what exhaust size works best? Could I get a 2.5" and run it now without turbo? I know I could, but wouldI lose or gain power? Also, I know, lots of questions. Which turbo timer works best?

Well, to start off, I too have a 99 AT. I'm pretty sure that stock trannies are capable of holding as long as you don't go boost crazy, according to HRC's e-mail. Eventually, you might want to Level 10 that AT. Definetely go with a 3 in. exhaust and if you can, get a hi-flo catalytic converter ONLY if you are already turbo'd. If not yet, then stick with the 2.5 setup cuz any higher and you will lose a lot of back pressure which in return lowers torque. Us AT's need all the low end we can get. The 2.5 setup will be fine for the turbo but the 3 in. will help it spool a tad quicker (less restrictions). As far as turbo timers, they basically all are the same. Some got more features than others like reading out speed, rpm, etc....If you can, get those automatic timers from HKS but all are basically the same so you can never go wrong. Hope that helps!!!!

I am thinking about this. Stage 2 HRC FMIC. Then building my bottom-end, then I can build the tranny with a level 10 kit myself.(my dad runs an auto tranny shop) Apexi twin chamber BOV. And how is the blitz FATT turbo timer? Oh yeah, and a turbo XS manual boost controller. And of course more boost after the car is built up to handle it.
