:thumbsup man i have a eagle talon esi and i love that damn thing but the noise it is making. the noise comes out around 2.2 to 2.5rpms. i really dont think i have lost hp. i took my car in and the place said they could not find the problem but they said my engine was about to go out. how do they know that but not the problem. it sounds like it is coming from the bottom of engine but i could be wrong

about a year ago i spun a rod bearing, on my 1st engine. it was a clicking noize that got louder with RPM's it was hard to hear the louder clicking noize due to my exhaust.
one way to see if you're bearings are FUBAR is to change out some of your oil, and look at the crap that comes out. if there are very small metal slivers/chunks in it, you're screwed.
