i finished doin' my indiglo needles and had to fix my speedometer. so i was goin' round the block to see how fast i was goin' at the end of first... when i go back home, i noticed there was anti-freeze all over the place almost pooring off the bottom of the engine...

what could it be cuz i don't see no obvious leeks or a specific area

Check the little rubber hose right in front of the valve cover (above the heat shield). I have busted that hose 2 times and let me tell you, it shot that shit ALL OVER the place. Just a thought. Good luck. Later.

happened to me, just popped a coolant tube(the exact same one ^^^ mentioned.) check the radiator tubing on the bottom, if that's where it looks like it came from. what did the overflow tank look like?

Only a few options. The upper or lower rad hose, or the hardlines. The upper and lower rad hose are easy on on the top left of rad, one on the lower right. Then on the thermostat housing there is that little piece that goes above the manifold to the hardline. Other than that, look at the main water line that plugs into the back of the water pump, and check hard lines and softlines to the heater core.

I remember when that kind of stuff happened to mine. I didn't know where it was coming from at first. Mine had a crack, but it didn't leak when the engine was off. So, you should open your hood and run your engine. Maybe you can find it quicker. Also, sqeeze the coolant hoses both upper and bottom one. Maybe, you can find soemthing.

well i found what it was, it was the heater line......!!!!! that bitch was hard as hell to get too!!! it took for ever to get the part on the firewall off cuz it was corroaded on so badly!!!!

i went to 4 auto stores before i got what i needed. what happened the part that attached to the metal pipe near the battery warped and got bigger then normal. 2 stores said that it was 2 different sizes 2 others said it warped (or wut eva), finally i got normal heater line and tried it myself, and it worked fine!

but now my temp gauge don't work so i'm still kinda worried about it all cuz i don't wanna over heat

it's either the gauge it self cuz i just got done doin' indiglo needles. but it worked this morning before this whole ordeal occured!

or it's somthing with the engine, coolent lines or something...

does any one know what culda happened if its not the gauge?

thanks
